Mike Wienringo passes away

nathaliaI haven't been online that often in the past few weeks with my lj entries being updated whenever possible after I wrote them on my alphasmart.
Anyway, I finally get the chance to spend some time with a computer, decide to check out Newsarama hoping to get some interesting comic news and I am shocked by the most recent article that announces that Mike Wienringo died yesterday, Sunday, 12th.
This is everything but a happy event because Wienringo was a very talented artist and still quite young. Damn it, my mother is older than him. And he is not the only comic artist who has died recently ...
So I had to write an out-of-schedule entry to acknowledge his death that is simply terribly sad.
