The spätzle matze made for us tonight were delicious. I still can't believe it. He's making another batch on Monday. Sooo good.

(spätzle are a lot like pasta but are put into water in a doughy state, not when hard like pasta. It's hard to explain but whoever has eaten it before knows how good home-made spätzle are)

it's so good and a regional thing. They aren't very pretty or anything but they are delicious and I never want to eat store-bought ones again after this.
