Rock Plaza Central sucks.
Sorry for saying it so bluntly, but it is the truth. They do suck. Their music isn't goo at all, I don't enjoy listening to them and this doesn't happen that frequently with the music posted on the IndieFeed: Indie Pop Music (formerly Americana / Pop) and the IndieFeed: Alternative / Modern Rock.
The title of the EP would make Silly grin foolishly, but then also Benjamin Wieland can do that (although she doesn't admit it). But the title of the EP being "Are We Not All Horses?" is a bit (very) stupid. Who would name an EP this way? I certainly wouldn't. One of the songs put up on the channels was "I Am An Excellent Steel Horse" and the other one was "My Children Be Joyful". Somehow, these songs just make me cringe, they actually make me cringe so much that I'm writing this. If this sounds mean, check the guys out at their MySpace page (and I won't add them to my friends now that I have a MySpace page).
On their MySpace page they have more songs, not only these two and there is one there that I actually liked, "The Things That Bind You" from an older EP, it's actually pretty beautiful (yeah, I should have done a bit more research on the band before I started writing but see the good thing: This way I find out that they might not suck quite as much as I thought they do.

While I'm at it, I have to mention another band that is totally fantastic and that I have found with IndieFeed, too. It's Four Fifty One.
They are so good that I have considered buying their CD, but of course, it's impossible, at least for me. If I find a possibility to to it though, I will. The music just rocks. Check out their MySpace page and you'll see what I'm talking about. They have a few songs up and the best of them is "Nagolove". I have also been to theis official site where they have more songs. They are great, I wish I were able to buy their fantasitc music.

My mother and sister are buying Christmas presents today and I told my sister to go into MediaMarkt or Saturn, find the CD section where there is a big (or not so big) section which is entitled Independent. Upon finding it, she's supposed to look thorugh it a little (it's the section of the place they never seem to look after, no CD is where it is supposed to be and mostly you can't find what you're looking for. I told her to look for something by Snow Patrol and if she didn't find anything, she could just get me anything she thought she wouldn't like.
My mother called me earlier on and asked for instructions on what to buy, she suggested things like Sex Pistols and Take That (isn't that that group Robbie Williams once was in?) and I admit I wasn't too happy. She read to me the names of a few CDs (yeah, great idea), the first one being The White Stripes. I told her to look a bit more or to just buy the White Stripes, they're quite good, I enjoy what I have heard of them till now although I admit that it wasn't much. But then again, how much had I heard of the great Arctic Monkeys before I bought their debut album?

Today during Ethics when we were watching this film about civil courage and then there was an explosion. Turned out our Chem teacher Herr Krabbe and his class (12th grade) were blowing stuff up in the court. As I was sitting close to the window, I could see very well what was happing down there and as I informed Ali and Silly, Benjamin Wieland was out there in the cold without a jacket. After the explosion, he and Herr Krabbe ran (!!) into the school building and returned shortly afterwards with jackets. The following explosion and the preparations were more interesting than the film we were watching, partly because the audio was terrible.
After class when we were waiting for the bus, Benjamin Wieland (I can't seem to be able to refer to him by first name or something, only by full name) walked past us and a discussion on his looks ensued, fueled by Silly although I was only too happy to join. She thinks he needs a haircut because his hair falls into his face like a curtain and that isn't good at all because according to her he could be so handsome. I don't think he's that handsome, but I can't argue that he's cute, not my type of man though.

Jessi brought her newest beau to school today. It was terrible. As I liked to describe him, he's a fourteen or fifteen-year-old guy who just discovered he has a penis and willingly shoves it into anything offered to him, even if it's Jessi.
It caused a major tumult in the lunch break when most of the people in the room got up or at least looked out in shock when Jessi walked through the court holding hands with him. Ethics wasn't much better with even the guys who haven't had much to do with Jessi being quite harsh. It's interesting how all people bond to make fun of her.
