As Uatu watched Earth’s heroes and villains fight each other over things that were far more significant than their lives, he couldn’t help but wonder how they would behave if they had the knowledge he had, if they knew how it would end.
Many humans believed in something of an afterlife, thought that after death, they were rewarded for their actions in life. Whether they were sent to heaven or hell or were reborn.
Uatu always wondered how humanity would react if they knew that there was nothing, absolutely nothing, after death. What if they knew none of their souls were saved, no matter if they killed billions of people or saved as many lives as possible.
Life would be very different; death would be feared so much more. Would the heroes still fight the villains if they knew there would be no reward for it?
Questions over questions Uatu would never know an answer to.
