hardware acceleration

nathaliaToday, I have mainly been fighting with the hardware acceleration of my computer and the fact that I a not able to access the panel where I SHOULD be able to change it. It's fucking frustrating. And I wanted to go to bed at about 10:30pm, but here I am, at 11pm, waiting for someone I know who knows a lot more about computers than I do to come back. He's taking a shower right now and I am like, "WTF! Here I am, playing a role I hate, the damsel in distress one, and the idiot tells me he needs to shower."
I think I know why he needs to take a bath ...
I've been googling my problem for hours and hours, but nothing, really nothing, is helping me and this really annoys me because I just deleted everything on my computer a few weeks ago.
So, I'm waiting for the idiot to be done showering.
I'm tired, but I want to fix that problem and I don't know when I'll get ahold of the guy again, so I need to do it now. And if he's not able to fix it, he is going to feel my wrath ...
