So yay! After ten days, I managed to write over 50% of my script and all the major scenes are written, only little character scenes are missing.
Maybe a bit more of Face and Wes, and more of the girls as they haven't been featured too much as of yet: Tyler and Lynn have a scene with Kenneth, Jane has a short passage with Tom, but then there is Jasmine who has not made any appearance yet. Maybe because I don't like her too much. She is a bit too normal and not so much fun to write, but I needed her in the team because with all the craziness, you need an anchor and Lawson isn't enough, I needed a normal person who was chosen to be on the team instead of leading it.
It's pretty hard juggling such a huge cast and I know that it isn't necessary to have every character in every episode, but I think that in the first few, all the characters should be present just so people get used to them.
And I need to get used to Jasmine. I know that there are a few neat things I can do with her, like who to team her up with to get some good interaction.
Jasmine is very plain and so Kev wouldn't be interesting for her to interact with. Lynn doesn't really care about her, neither does Wes because it makes no sense for her to complain about Wes too much because there are already other characters doing so.
So, Jasmine is stuck to Kenneth who is very down to earth as well and teaming her up with Tom is just fun because he freaks her out with his unusual way that can be scary. And Face is flamboyant every once in a while, so he'd be nice to have them interact. I have a table with all the character interactions I want to have because I want everyone to interact with everyone. That's the interesting thing about a diverse and big cast.
I need to go to bed.
