“I know she wasn’t exactly a virgin when we started dating, but it’s not like she was fucking friends of mine, so I don’t have a problem with it.“

Dennis raised his brow questioningly as his best friend Joseph mentioned his wife’s sex life before they had gotten married. He had never talked to anyone about it, but he knew about Stella’s sex life better than anyone else.

Joseph ignored him. “And now she is meeting a former boyfriend and doesn’t understand why I’m jealous. Imagine what they might have done in the past before I came along.”

Dennis tilted his head and watched Joseph pace through the room nervously. “So what, they may have had sex years ago.”

“I don’t want Stella in the same room as someone she had sex with!” Joseph told Dennis openly, knowing that his longtime friend wouldn’t make too much fun of him. He always listened to his marital problems with Stella even though he couldn’t stand his best friend’s wife. “That’s why you are such a perfect partner for her.”

“What the –? Joe, we fight all the time,” Dennis reminded his friend.

“But you would never make a move on her.”

“True,” Dennis nodded, keeping to himself that he had done that often enough in the past when Stella still had had sex with friends of Joseph’s or at least one of them.
