It's not going as well as I thought but I hit today's goal so I'm happy and I'm having fun with these totally underdevelopped characters because of all characters, I only know a bit about the main character Nina Borges who used to date Dennis Lawson way back when and I got to mention Hobbie in a sentence which felt natural enough to me. And I got to introduce the most awesome character of all, Chavira, although he hasn't formally been introduced to Nina yet. He only got to throw stuff around the office and yell at San Lorenzo.
And the other characters, Cristiano, Rita, San Lorenzo and Rodrigo got introduced as well. I didn't even know Rodrigo would be in it but now he is and he'll probably be bashed a lot by Chavira. Just like all other characters. I just wish I knew more swearwords for Chavira to use. And I'm writing the first real meeting between Chavira and Nina tomorrow. I have no idea how it's going to work out and will probably be important to the development of their relationship. But I'm having fun with it in general, so I'm fine.
I feel like I'm using the same words over and over again but I can go back and edit it at some point. I just want to try and write and it's fun although really challenging. A lot more difficult than I had first expected because writing fiction is a lot different from writing for school. This story is definetely not PG but I have the advantages of never possibly ever wanting to write a sex scene because I'd lack the vocabulary, so I'll have to go the violence route instead. I hope I have enough vocab for that because it'll be hard to write slighly grim and gritty if I can pull it off.
