I spent most of yesterday getting on the boyfriend's nerves about wanting to make Christmas cookies because I've never made the before and after fighting about it for a long time, he gave in. We just made the dough for two types of cookies and now we're waiting to be able to continue.

I still have to study for that shitty accounting mid term next Friday. I hate accounting so much. It's multiple choice but as the nice woman who teaches it explained to us, she would not be uploading any questions for us to practice on because that would cost her the whole weekend and she's not in the mood for it. What the fuck, woman, you're a university professor who is teaching TWO classes, one of which you made multiple questions for last year. Why is it so hard to sit down, come up with a few for every chapter and then put them on your website? You're getting paid for this, and not even very little.

Last year, I used a book to study for accounting because her script is horrible. Guess what, I can't even do that this year because there is asbestos in the library and we can't get any books. The library has been closed since late October. And then she mentions, "there are lots of books you can look into for that" last week. Actually, we can't. Not for accounting and not for any other class because the library has been closed for ages and nobody knows when it'll reopen since they have to professionally clean every single book and have even been talking about possibly having to build a whole new library.

I don't complain about it a lot because it's not that bad but when Stefani starts talking about all the books we could get that explain this really well (since she obviously doesn't) I get angry at that annoying woman.

I hope those cookies turn out well! This is definitely the season for baking. I made a carrot cake a few days ago which came out surprisingly nice. (Unusually for me...)

Also, your teacher/professor is being pretty stingy with her time. You mentioned before that you go to one of the top universities too. I would feel like punching her in the throat in all honesty. XD

And asbestos is a nightmare. The secondary school I went to got asbestos in the gym when I was in Year 8 and we had outdoors P.E. all through the rainy winter. But I would have been more annoyed if it was the library.

It's the first time I've made cookies and some didn't turn out pretty but they are very tasty and we have enough to last us all winter. Besides, it was fun :)

She is a total bitch. I still have to take basic accounting next year, so it's not even the last time I have to put up with her. We are a fucking elite university, and she is too lazy to sit down on a weekend and come up with 40 or 50 multiple choice questions and then have an assistant program it as an excel spreadsheet? This is the first year there'll be a mid term and I think that it would help immensely to know what type of question she would be asking. That bitch can go right back to Switzerland for all I care.

I don't really mind the asbestos. It sucks when I want to get books but I got most of the important books before it happened and since they don't know how long it will take, they are reordering books already, you can still get all the law books and science books because those parts don't have asbestos. I don't really blame anyone since they couldn't have known and are doing their best. I feel bad for the people who are writing their bachelor's thesis or master's thesis though.

Ironically, the library was voted best library in the country in 2010 XD

Also, if she makes up some practise papers just once she could probably reuse them for future students with just a bit of editing. What a failure. Time to call in the sniper squad.

She would keep using them without any alterations, actually. So it would be work that would pay off for as long as she teaches accounting somewhere. I hate her so much.
