Nov. 7th, 2011 08:06 pmI'm thinking that my essay for Generations of Holocaust Literature might end up being about Magneto. Yes, the X-Men character.
I made a joke about it because we were told that pop culture dealing with the Holocaust was completely acceptable but the more I think about it, the more I like the idea. In my head, I've even decided on what significant stories to use (Grant Morrison's final arc, Pak's Magneto Testament and maybe one or two Claremont bits). And I'll ignore that awful 90s retcon where they tried to make him a gypsy.
At the same time, I don't think I can possibly do this. Right?
