nathaliaPictures of the hotel we stayed in in Fortaleza. This is the first wave of pictures from the great time we had in Fortaleza.
The hotel wasn't the most beautiful thing. Actually, the pool area was cool, I have to admit it, but then again, I didn't take pictures of that. They had the strangest decoration EVER.
The lobby. This tree was just so ... and the lights. I mean, has anyone ever told them that less is more?!
Right next to the huge, yucky tree, there is this huge Santa Claus that MOVES. No kidding. It rocked back and forth all the time.
The theme for New Year was "My Brazilian Brazil" and that's why they had this huge flag painted to the wall when you walked from the lobby to the pool area.
Of course my sister had to take pictures in front of this flag. There are three pictures of it, actually, but I will only update two of them. I like the first one better.
Now something I have to say was great: The party area for the New Year's concert. It was open air, with space for 7,000 people.
The place was divided in areas, each one stood for an area of Brazil and there was typical food. I didn't eat any of the food, but nonetheless, I loved the idea.
There were two stages, not one. This way, they didn't need to change stuff when one band was done. This is a great idea I just loved.
I love to look at these pictures although they don't capture how HUGE this was.
