Yeah, I know, it isn't confirmed, it was a cliffhanger, but I really hope that it didn't happen. Not only do I hate the concept of May being shot by a sniper (didn't we have that in Captain America #25 a few weeks ago?), I don't want May to be dead. She is annoying sometimes, I don't like her hooking up with Jarvis and she usually doesn't further the plot, but she shouldn't be killed, at least not now. Captain America was just killed, that's enough for the moment, no need to kill off another iconic character, even if it is Spider-Man's old aunt.
I still think she should have remained dead after dying in Amazing Spider-Man #400, her death was just so beautifully written with the Peter Pan quotations.
