nathaliaAfter reading so much good stuff about Seagle and Cooney's "American Virgin", I sat down to read it yesterday and I've read all nineteen issues now and, man, it's great. It's deep, it's perverted, it's fun, it's cute ... There is so much about it. At first I thought, "What the heck?" because well, I wouldn't be able to save my soul according to Adam because I am not a virgin. It will be a year since I lost my virginity soon. Anyway, the idea was kind of weird because the guy is so super-religious, but after a while I really got into it. I mean, nineteen issues in two sittings are quite an achievement for something I wasn't very sure about to start with.
I read that it will be cancelled and that makes me really sad because I feel like there is no fucking reason to cancel such an awesome series. I think I have about one storyarc left and it really upsets me that it is going to end with issue 23.
